Morris Vee Sports Bet is a South African bookmaker offering online sports betting and Lucky Numbers registered with the KwaZulu-Natal Gambling and Racing Board. They have a number of retails shop but are now moving with the times and have a presence online. Morris Vee currently have a 100% match up to R1000 which is not too bad considering most other books have a standard R500 match offer.

We really wish there was something to get excited about but Morris Vee offers punters the bare minimum and has exactly the same interface as Track and Ball Gaming. Some of the sports betting on offer include soccer, horse racing, cricket, boxing, rugby and tennis. Unfortunately there are only one or two differences in the sports available, but we did like the fact that in addition Morris Vee offers betting on politics and entertainment, which is a nice touch that we did not expect to see!
Like Track & Ball Gaming, the website features a betting ticket lookup feature which allows punters to review bets taken in their shops around KwaZulu-Natal. Although there is a reasonable amount of sports betting markets available, Morris Vee doesn’t have too much over the many other bookmakers. It is still early days for Morris Vee and we’re sure they will improve as time goes on. It’s hard to be too critical of a new bookmaker.

Desktop: Navigation through the website is decent enough but aesthetically it is uninspiring to say the least. We hope that they make a few changes other than just the usual cosmetic skin changes as there are a few sites that look well, very similar…
Mobile: Just like the desktop version, the mobi site is easy to navigate but doesn’t include the sporting event listings which is a useful feature of the desktop site.
App: No mobile app available as of yet
Conclusion
We are always glad to see new bookmakers entering the online sports betting market in South Africa but we expect these businesses to offer punters something unique, which is where Morris Vee falls somewhat short.
They’ve got great backing from Turfsport , and a good sign on bonus of a 100% match up to R1000 but the online platform is dull and could do with a few more bright colours and eye catching images. However it being early days for them we aren’t going to be too harsh and they are worth checking out.

they’re pretty good until they lose
then they, post the match, (like 12 hours later), amend the bet prices and claim it was a clear and obvious error
they offer no proof of the new prices they give you, they just amend the bet and send you an email
funny the price on my losing trade wasn’t adjusted and their website was never taken offline to stop further betting on what they claim was an erroneous pricing feed.

Hi Brad, have you considered taking the matter to the gaming board as it does sound like there is some wrong doing on their part. Palpable errors happen but it sounds like they haven’t taken many steps to help customers.

the one bet was benfica at 1.24, pretty sure sportpesa was 1.22 and they now alter my winnings to 1.18!!
