The games are live-streamed 24/7 which means you’re never too late (or even early) to join the party. With in-studio cameras allowing you to see every dice roll, wheel spin and flip of the cards, you can rest assured these games are 100% fair. Which Live Casino Games Can I Play at Betway?

Roulette

At any time, there are at least 12 tables offering various styles of Live Roulette at Betway. Choose anything from Standard and American roulette to Speed Roulette, where game rounds take no more than 25 seconds from spin to spin. Everything at the tables happens live, meaning you’ll sit opposite a real croupier who’ll call for your bets and spin the roulette wheel right in front of you.

How it works: Rules can vary slightly across game styles but the basic premise of Roulette is to bet on the winning number, colour or relative position of the ball after the wheel has been spun. There are many different bets available in roulette with different odds and payouts, so take note of these before playing.

How to play: Log in to Betway or sign up if you’re a new customer. Go to the Live Games page and select Live Roulette. Choose the game style and betting limits you would like to play and you’re all set!

Blackjack

Betway offers a wide range of Blackjack tables with varied game styles and betting limits, all the way from Standard to Free Bet, Speed and Party Blackjack. Choose to play with a minimum bet of R5 or sit down at the high-roller Salon Prive tables where you’ll need at least R30 000 to buy-in. The more popular R100 and R1000 tables are usually quite busy so you might have to wait for a seat at these.

How it works: The player and dealer are dealt two cards each. One of the dealer’s cards is hidden until the end of the round. The aim of blackjack is to beat the dealer’s hand without going over 21. Face cards are worth 10. Aces are worth 1 or 11 (whichever makes a better hand). After receiving your two cards you can either ask for another card (‘Hit’) or ‘Stand’ and end your turn.

If you go over 21, you’re bust and the dealer wins. If you stand and your total is closer to 21, you win. If it’s a tie, your bet is a push. If you’re dealt 21 from the start (Ace & 10), you also win. Read more about the rules and betting odds for Blackjack here.

How to play: Log in to Betway or sign up if you’re a new customer. Go to the Live Games page and select Live Blackjack. Choose the game style and betting limits you would like to play and you’re all set!

Baccarat

Betway’s Baccarat is an authentic representation of this ancient Italian game traditionally played by only the wealthiest people. Get dealt in by a live dealer for as little as R2 or up the ante at the Salon Prive tables where the minimum bet is R10 000 and you’ll have the dealer all to yourself.

How it works: Baccarat is a game played against the dealer where you are both dealt two cards at the start of each round. If either the player or banker is dealt a total of eight or nine, they must stand (not receive another card). If the player’s total is five or less, then the player must hit (receive another card). Otherwise, the player will stand. If the player stands, then the banker must hit on a total of five or less. Read more about the rules and betting odds for Baccarat here.

Poker

Since the 1800s, people have bet on this popular card game, sometimes even in dusty saloons while playing for their lives! The game has since evolved to include several variations, and Betway has the best of them available for you 24/7. Texas Hold’em, 2 Hand Casino Hold’em, Three Card and Caribbean Stud are some of the games you can play for anything between R5 and R20 000 a hand.

How it works: There are many versions of poker available at Betway and each game has slightly different rules. The dealer will give you 2-5 cards face down and the main aim of the game is to make a qualifying five-card poker hand to win the pot. Whether you win is determined by what hands other players are holding and whether you choose to stay in the game when the stakes are raised. Deal Or No Deal

Based on the popular TV show, Deal or No Deal is a unique, multi-faceted live game where players must choose and eliminate briefcases, hoping to leave only the ones with big sums of money behind. The game allows an unlimited number of online players all gunning for a huge cash prize.

How it works: Players must qualify for the main game by spinning the bank vault wheel to align gold segments in the allocated time. Once you qualify, the aim is to predict whether the amount of money in the remaining briefcases will be higher than the banker’s offer.

Next, you’ll place bets to determine the cash prize you’re playing for in the main round. Here, you’ll try to eliminate the small value briefcases and increase the banker’s offer until you’re happy enough to say “Deal!”

Monopoly Live

Based on the family-favourite board game, Monopoly Live is another fantastic live-hosted game show which combines all the fun and nostalgia of this classic with a money wheel that likes to pay big! With charming hosts and impressive 3D bonus rounds, the fun factor of Monopoly Live is off the charts and it’s no surprise the game regularly tops the charts in terms of active players.

Chance cards in both the main and bonus rounds give you even more ways to win.

Speedy 7

Speedy 7 consists of seven betting rounds. During each round players must bet on the colour of the card to be dealt next. The dealer deals a total of 7 cards per game, and punters are given a chance to bet on the colour of each card before it is drawn. When you guess a card correctly, you will get paid out at odds of 9/10.

For example, if you bet R10 and win, you will get R19 back. After each card has been dealt, a cash out option is available if you do not wish to bet your winnings on the next card. Should you get 4 correct predictions in a row you’ll earn a bonus on your winnings. Guess 7 correctly and you’ll get a bigger bonus on top of your winnings.

 Dice Duel

Dice Duel features two standard six-sided dice, one red and one blue. Before each roll, players bet on different outcomes such as which die will be higher or if there will be a tie. Other markets include a certain number being rolled on either die, the number of pips on either die being odd or oven, the total pips combined being over or under a certain number, and lots more.

With new rounds taking place every minute, the speed of gameplay is fast and not suited to everyone. That said, the number of bets available are fewer than other games which makes it easier to review all your options.

6+ Poker

6+ Poker is similar in style to Texas Hold’em Poker. It is also played against the dealer but with a reduced deck of 36 cards. In the first betting round before the game starts, punters place a bet on what kind of hand they think they will get. Weaker hands like a pair offer small odds while stronger hands like a straight can pay big.

Players have the opportunity to bet before each card is revealed and the odds offered for each hand change accordingly. Unlike some other versions of poker where the minimum bet is R5, you can play 6+ Poker for as little as R1 making it more accessible for first-timers.

Bet On Poker

Bet On Poker is a unique format of the popular card game where you are dealt 6 hands at the same time. The aim of the game is to predict and bet on which hand will win after all the cards are drawn. Each game comprises four rounds of betting and the odds for each hand are adjusted after each draw. Bets in the first round are placed before any cards are dealt.

In Round 2, you have the opportunity to bet on the winner based on the first card dealt for each hand. In Round 3, you will see the flop (first three community cards) before placing more bets. The final round of betting begins when the fourth community card is drawn (the turn). The final community card is then drawn and the winning hand is declared. If there is more than one hand with the best combination, the game is considered a draw and any bets on those hands will be returned to the player.

Bet On Baccarat

The game of Baccarat is a battle between the player and the banker where the aim is to reach a points total of 9. They are each dealt two cards at the start of each round. If either has a total of eight or nine, they must stand (not receive another card). If the player’s total is five or less, then the player must hit (receive another card). Otherwise, the player will stand. If the player stands, then the banker must hit on a total of five or less.

Bet On Baccarat is played the same way as normal Baccarat except that in the BetGames version there are more ways to win. You can place bets before the cards are dealt and also after the first cards are dealt. Instead of just predicting which hand will win or a tie, you can also bet on results such as a player pair, banker pair, either pair, perfect pair, small or big.

Wheel Of Fortune

Money wheels are some of the oldest gambling games but are still a favourite among punters who like the instant gratification it can offer. The BetGames Wheel Of Fortune comprises 19 numbered segments with one of these representing a bonus that pays 18/1 should you bet on it.

All bets need to be placed before the wheel is spun which must complete three revolutions to be considered a valid spin. Your betting options include Numbers (single numbers, ranges, high/low), Colours (grey, red or black segment) and Odd/Even (overall, grey, red or black segment).

War Of Bets

War of Bets is probably the most straightforward casino-style game available on the BetGames platform. It involves a single card being drawn for the player, and another for the dealer from a 52-card deck. How the game works is that you bet on who will get the higher card or if there will be ‘War’ (a tie).

In this situation, any bets on either player will lose. There are two rounds of betting for each game, the first before any cards are dealt and another after the player’s card is dealt. The dealer’s card is then revealed to determine the winner.
