Clickabet are the new kids on the block. Started by previous Altech CEO Craig Venter they are yet another Bettech operation but what intially set them apart was their offering of a massive R2500 sign on bonus. However fell away and was replaced with a 50% match offer up to R2000. Only to have to the 100% Clickabet Deposit Bonus return, and then be changed to a R1500 offer! So good on them on realizing their mistake, but why all the changes to the bonus?
The sign on offer is one of, if not the highest available to the everyday punter (We’re sure VIP’s get some mind boggling offers). Clickabet are also running a promotion that gives you a chance to win a pair of authenticated Pele boots valued at R80,000. Nice to see some imagination shown by the Clickabet marketing guys as this is a really great prize, possibly the best we’ve ever seen. We’ve found out who won the prize and will hopefully get some info from them soon.
We liked the layout and styling of the site, it’s bold and the branding is very well done even with the limitations of the Bettech template. Clickabet is instantly recognisable from the strong reds and the catchy name. If only Sunbet would do something similar with their somewhat dull website.
Promotions :
Win Authenticated Pele Boots : Bet R2000 or more over the Premier League season and stand a chance to win Pele boots valued at R80,000.
Refer a friend : Earn R50 when your friend stakes their first R50.
Soccer Multiple : Place a Soccer multiple of 6 or more legs and if you lose by one leg, you will get your stake back up to R500.
Other than the above their promotions are pretty dull but credit to Clickabet for slowly adding to their promotions. We’ve seen a few new ones pop up over the last few weeks and we hope their are more in the pipeline. Being new we are willing to give them the benefit of the doubt for the moment.
Overall Experience :
The betting experience is nothing special but it is solid and being new it’s worth checking them out due to the sign on offer and Pele promotion alone, even though the offer has changed it’s still a decent one. Their customer service was prompt but cold and their lack of the usual promotions are two drawbacks that come to mind. We’d like to wish Clickabet the best of luck in what is a saturated market.

Clicabet is pathetic when it comes to settling.Have been waiting for 4 days to get settle.Claims settlements can take up to 7 days they told me.Seems they have a cashflow problem and I will not trust them with any more of my money and bets.I would recommend punters to be very carefull when deciding to bet with this lot.Johann Esterhuyzen

Clickabet is the worst site ever. For the past 3 days, accumulator bet types have been rejected by the system and now I sense it is intentional, I will not refer a friend to this site.

interesting comments below–unfortunately I have a similar unfortunate experience–despite showing a net loss I have gone from unlimited to R40 within a few bets without any notification–don’t really have a problem with that as it is their prerogative and if they dont want me as a customer that is fine–however trying to withdraw my money owing is proving impossible–my withdrawal has been authorised but they wont transfer the funds—-I have been lied to by 3 different call centre agents this last week who I sympathise with as they are merely front line employees farming out false information–I dont know what their financial position is as I see from below this is an on-going problem–they are supposed to have a new managing director who is going to help them grow–good luck with that–despite my numerous calls and emails there is no response–I suppose the next step is the western cape gambling board

We’ve received numerous mails describing your issue. Players lose, get limited without knowing, deposit and then cannot withdraw. Their limiting is way too harsh for a new bookmaker.
hi there—limiting is no problem—–as I said it is their prerogative—–from my experience and based on the numerous comments below I don’t believe their trading and management team are very skilled in either betting risk management or customer service and they will in my opinion seriously struggle to make their mark in a very competitive industry–I wish them well.
however failing to pay customers timeously is a an absolute disgrace and needs to be addressed

Hopefully they can sort those issues out. One problem with the limiting is if you get limited at Clickabet you get limited across the board (Bettech) or so I’m told.
That should not happen as each bookmaker has an obligation to protect the confidentiality of their customers betting transactions–sharing that information should be regarded as unethical
