Eazibet review

Eazibet have been a player in the South African betting market for nearly a year now. Since our last review in May 2017, their website has undergone a major facelift and is much easier on the eye. Eazibet also have a new brand ambassador in Neil Andrews, who soccer fans will know from the UEFA Champions League show on Supersport. With MTN also onboard, money in the Eazibet coffers is clearly being spent. So let’s break down their new and improved site, see what they’re getting right, and also which boxes still remain unticked.

Eazibet Site Down

Eazibet have been down for an upgrade for several months now. We’ve received no word is they will continue to operate as a bookmaker.

Eazibet Site

The layout of the new Eazibet site is far slicker than its predecessor, looking less like the Matrix and more like the sports betting site that it should. They’ve stuck with the green colour for brand identity but the new pastel tones are not nearly as harsh. The sports markets are easy to navigate and a handy menu allows punters to choose the timeframe for the sports event they want to locate. (Live, 2 hours, 24 hours, 4 days, etc.)

Another awesome new addition to the new Eazibet site is the Bet Assist feature designed by Chalkline, displaying the latest results, fixtures and form tables from all of the major soccer leagues. We also highly approve of the prominent placement of a tab on the main menu at the very top of the Home Page which takes punters to the Eazibet Betting Rules. No excuses for not reading them!

Eazibet’s in-play offering remains fairly basic and the muddled lay out can make it confusing. We do really like that they offer Asian Handicaps and Asian Goal Lines for soccer (both pre-match and in-play), which only Betxchange have offered punters up until now.

It looks like Eazibet have done away with their blog, which is a real pity because it was a nice feature and could help them to build a loyal following.

Customer Support

Punters can get hold of Eazibet by telephone, live chat and email. We like the addition of a live chat service for quick and easy issue resolution, which wasn’t yet available when we last reviewed the site. Tele-support is not 24/7, but available from 08h30 until 22h30 which is very reasonable.

When we first used Eazibet we were highly unsatisfied with the long withdrawal times and the fact we had to email customer support to request our funds. These banking issues have since been resolved and although they aren’t as fast as the industry’s best, Eazibet now pay punters within the standard 3-5 day period we have come to expect from South African bookies.

Overall Experience

Our Eazibet experience is vastly improved since when last tried them out. Not only is their site more attractive and user-friendly, but they’ve addressed many of the issues customers using their original site were having, especially with withdrawals. We were hesitant to recommend using Eazibet when they first launched but since the site overhaul they’ve certainly grown on us and we strongly advise you check them out!
