5 Reasons to bet with Betway

Betway are fast becoming one of the most popular bookmakers in South Africa, we’re going to give you our 5 reasons why you should bet with Betway.

Betway deposit offer

Betway currently have R10 Free Bet and a 125% deposit match up to R1000, meaning that if you deposit R800 you’ll get a total of R1800 to bet with. That’s R800 of your own money and R1000 of theirs, not a bad deal at all! When it comes to the R10 Free Bet you simply have to sign up, no deposit required. The bonus isn’t the biggest out there, not by a long shot, however it does make up for that by having some of the easiest wagering requirements of any offer out there. To unlock your bonus you need to wager your first deposit once at 1.80 (8/10) or more. You can claim your bonus here or by using code BSB01.

Most other bookmakers require that you wager your bonus several times at odds of 1.90 or more, so right off the bat you’re getting a very good offer at Betway. Once you’ve unlocked your free bet you can bet it on any odds you like and the winnings will be yours to withdraw. You won’t get to keep the stake from the free bet but the winnings are cash.

Betway Betgames

Betgames aren’t for everyone but for those who do fancy their luck on the popular game will find themselves more than happy with Betway’s Betgames offering. Betway currently offer Lucky 5, Lucky 6, Lucky 7 and are the only bookmaker (at time of writing) to offer Betgames Wheel of Fortune. While Betgames Wheel of Fortune might not have the same charm as Dreamcatcher it’s still a unique game, and loved by many punters. You’ll struggle to find as many Betgames at another bookmaker, which is what makes Betway very attractive.

Good customer service

Betway pride themselves on their customer service and we feel it’s one of the better ones out there. We’ve used the service several times and have always had our query dealt with in a prompt and professional manner. We’re not going to say it’s the best service ever, but the agents we’ve dealt with called back when they promised which goes a long way when it comes to gaining a punters trust. Your mileage may vary and if you’ve had poor service from their agents let us know in the comments below.

Cash out

Cash out is a fairly new concept to South African punters. First launched by Sportingbet it took some time before others started adopting the system, one of which was Betway. Currently there are only a handful of bookmakers who offer the service, which allows punters to “Cash Out” or close pending single or multiple bets. While Betway’s cash out hasn’t met the lofty heights of Sportingbet’s auto cash out, it’s still a great product and we’re glad that they’ve implemented it. If only the other big bookmakers would follow suite!

Betway mobile

Betway have one of the slickest mobile sites in South Africa, it’s hard to find an equal to Sunbet and Sportingbet’s mobile sites but Betway have certainly made an impression. The mobile site is one of the easiest to use and has good functionality. We’ve never had a major complaint about their mobile offering other than the fact it can be a pain to get an in play rugby bet on, but that’s more of a back end software problem than one with the actual mobile site itself. They also have a good app that is available on IOS and Android, you can read how to download the app here.
