Which Bookmakers in South Africa Offer Cash out?
How does cash out work?
With Cash Out you no longer have to wait for your bet to finish to collect your winnings. Choose the bet you want to “Cash Out” and you’ll be paid the amount offered immediately regardless of your original selection. Not all markets have the cash out function but the main ones do. If you are not sure if your bet will have cash out then ask the bookmaker. If you’d like to know more about Betway’s cash out read this guide.
Why Cash out is awesome
Cash out allows you to take a profit if your selection is doing well, or minimise any potential loss should you think the bet is unlikely to result in a win. This means you can cash out if your bet is winning or even losing.
Waiting on one more result to come in for the big accumulator but don’t fancy your chances? Choose the bet you want to Cash Out and you’ll be paid amount offered immediately regardless of your original selection.
Cash Out’s are made in real time and your Cash Out offer will reflect live market prices so the bookmaker calculates what the payout is without that leg or at the current price, shows you the price and pays you at that price if you decent to cash out.
Where can I use Cash Out
South Africa does only has one bookmaker that offers cash out, that bookmaker is Sportingbet. It works fantastically well on both mobile and desktop, we know as we’ve used the cash out feature several times. You can sign up for Sportingbet here.

More about Cash Out
Cash out allows you to get money back on your bet before the event you are betting on is over. The amount of money you get back is determined at the time of cashing out and will depend upon the current likelihood of the bet winning – so it could be greater or less than the initial stake.
This option is normally offered as part of in-running betting, also known as in-play or live betting. This is betting while the event to which the bet relates is actually taking place. Examples include, placing a bet on a horserace while the race is being run or a football match that has already kicked off. The availability of cash out will vary from bookmaker to bookmaker.
Cash out offers are subject to live betting markets which can be volatile during a sporting event and increasingly so in the final stages. Given any cash out offer is determined by the current live market prices (which are subject to time delays) it follows that the available offer will itself be increasingly volatile as the likely outcome of the event becomes potentially clearer. As the likely chances of winning change, an offer for cash out will increase, decrease or be removed altogether. Source.
