For this review we are focusing on the Sports Betting portion of the website, ignoring the casino side for now. The landing page is pretty good and we really like the ancient Roman theme, especially the legionnaire logo that they are using (history buff feel free to correct us!) Everything is accessible from the odds menu on the left hand side of the page while the top menu is fairly basic with betting, live betting and betting help on offer.

We prefer the simple look but one drawback is the live / upcoming live markets on the homepage. There are just too many of them and you can find yourself scrolling quite a bit.

Placing bets is pretty simple and straight forward, it’s laid out in a very similar fashion to Olimp South Africa but nowhere near as confusing. The odds are competitive and you aren’t getting suckered if you have a bet with Flamantis. They offer both telephone and a live chat option that is available 24/7. We found the agents excellent and well up to international standard.

Promotions :

Flamantis have no real promotions to speak of, other than the no deposit sign up offer and first deposit match offer so lets focus on the latter. The sign on offer is €50 and that’s pretty standard when it comes to international books, we’re not sure what the rand value will be but it should be close to R1000.

Flamantis have got all the basics right and are a solid choice if you are looking to expand your sports betting options. They won’t blow you away and you will come away from them wanting that little bit extra, like promotions. Once they’ve got a few of those lined up we’d give them a much higher score.
