We’ve only going to give a brief overview in this review, as it’s still in beta, but the site itself is mostly functional and you’re able to access all of the important areas from the site. Conclusion
Powerbets is looking like it has the potential to make a big splash in the South African Betting market. They have competitive odds, great supports and a really impressive mobile site. However the deposit bonus wagering is a bit of a draw back for some punters and we hope they alter the terms of the promotion soon.

Hi, this service is a scam, they ignore messages, don’t pay out Wining bets. This is a terrible service with incompetent people running it. I don’t recommend anyone registering an account with them.

I was considering registering an account with them. But I noticed on the website that the bookmaker’s license is held by King Bets (registered with the WC gambling board). Any idea what’s the relationship between King Bets and Powerbets? Can’t seem to find much online information on “King Bets.” I’m not too convinced at this stage.
Furthermore the deposit bonus criteria seems quite strange. I read on the website that a player will need to bet with their real money balance to “unlock” a portion of the bonus voucher – which then gets paid into the real balance. So as an example you will need to bet R 1 000 of your own money at odds of over 3.5 and then you will receive 10% back of the bonus voucher regardless if your bet wins or loses. So you get R 100 back and you have to place all your bets within 3 days after which the voucher expires. At these odds it is more likely that the player will quickly lose their entire real balance and only get 10% back at best. Feels more like a 10% deposit bonus to me.
A bookie like WSB has a really good free bet system. Way superior to this I think.
