Massiv Bet, also known as Massiv.bet, are a brand new online bookmaker who have just launched in South Africa. Massiv are currently offering new customers a 100% deposit match up to R1000, a reasonable offer that will give punters extra bang for their buck when signing up.
The Massiv.bet site is very well styled and looks great on both mobile and desktop, as one would expect considering who their software provider is. There is a strong blue theme that fits nicely with their logo and it’s a refreshing change from the usual black colour themed sites that are all the rage these days. The menus are conveniently located and have all the important info you’ll need, such as accessing your account and searching for matches.
We also found the mobile site to be very responsive and a pleasure to use, even more so than the desktop site. They’ve clearly put in a good amount of effort to make the betting experience a pleasant one.
Odds and Markets
The markets on offer at Massiv are inline with those you’d find at most bookmakers. They offer betting on popular sports like Soccer, Tennis, Rugby, Cricket and more. What does set them apart from some bookmakers is their horse racing offering. It seems like more and more bookmakers are actually dropping horse racing so it’s a refreshing change to see local and international races offered. The odds on sports are fair and in line with most other bookmakers.
Lucky Numbers
Massiv also have very solid lucky number / lotto betting options. You can bet on not only local but several international lotteries including the popular UK49, Spanish, Irish and many more.
Massiv Betgames
Massiv have a fairly comprehensive Betgames offering and you’re able to bet on Lucky 5, 6 and 7 on both your mobile and desktop. We’d like to see them add more games like Lucky Wheel, Dice and Dice Duel, like Betway does, but we assume they’ll be getting these soon.
Promotions
Currently the only available promotion is the 100% Deposit match up to R1000. However there is a promotions page on the site that’s currently empty, hopefully it’ll be filled up with some promotions as the brand grows.
Deposit Methods
You can deposit using EFT or your bank card. There is no voucher top up option like OTT or 1Voucher available, which is disappointing.

Overall Experience
Massiv.bet is another solid entrant into what has become a rather crowded market. They’ve got several things going in their favour, such as their slick site, a decent sign on bonus and a good lottery product. However they’ll need to up their game when it comes to promotions as it’s a big let down to see a promotions page that is empty.
