France v South Africa Betting Preview

France v South Africa, last year I went France, I lost. This year the Springboks go to Paris after narrowly losing to the English. England were lucky to win and quite frankly were lucky to stay within ten. Had Handre Pollard had his kicking boots on, it may have been a different result. Had South Africa turned their clear on field dominance into points it might have been different.

We can sit here for hours and tell you how South Africa should have or could have won. I won’t however dwell on the referee decision at the end of the game. I have both won and lost on decisions, I am not a referee and I do not claim to know all of the rules. What I do know though, is South Africa had a hundred chances to win and they did not use any of them.

Boks to take Les Blues Lightly?

I am of the opinion that the Zaffas will take France lightly, I do not think the likes of Rassie who spent most of the week showing his players how to tackle high will be taking the French seriously. This will play into my hands as I feel SA are in for a big fight this week.

Sure South Africa have won the odd game in Paris, but this week they face a French team that are not crap, they are decent. The French side looks good and I like them, but I do not like them as much as I do not like South Africa’s easy attitude.

South Africa have many problems, line outs, kicking, I could go on for a while. I have heard fellow punters calling the Boks their best bet by far. It’s far from my best bet. In fact early on in the week I thought I had seen France -8.5, I was obviously wrong! When I saw the actual price I was stunned

France v South Africa Betting Verdict

South Africa are favourites in France? Why? How could this be? As much as my play is about price, like it usually is, there is a lot to be said about the French themselves. I like them and I will use my own money to back them.

Look, I am not going berserk here, just a small play, I reckon there will be a lot of unhappy Zaffa punters come late Saturday night. If you are looking to go large here, I would happily caution you, it’s not as easy as it looks.
