England will be content with their display against an extremely negative Tunisian side. Yes they only managed a win thanks to Kane’s VERY late goal, but in reality it was a game the English dominated. One area of concern is the fact that no one other than Kane can finish. Sterling missed a bucket load of chances and England really should have been 2-3 goals up at Half Time. They were also unfortunate not to get a few penalties as the Tunisian defence was literally dragging Kane down when it came to corners. We expect a much more clinical performance from the English as they need to be on good form if they are to get anything out of their next game against Belgium.
Panama weathered the Belgium attack in their last game, somehow managing a draw at halftime. Then the legs began to tire and spaces opened up at the back resulting in a loss that should have been worse than it was. There is little Panama can realistically do to improve as they showed great heart against Belgium and played pretty well but the gulf in class was obvious. They will be looking to get some more experience from this match knowing they have little chance of causing an upset. We doubt they will take a negative approach to this match as it really won’t do either side any good and the result will likely be the same regardless.

England need to equal or best Belgium’s 3-0 win over Panama if they are to contend for the top spot in the Group. If England can find their scoring boots then this could get ugly as they’ve got the talent to really put a few past Panama. We do like England to win and Over 2.5 match goals at 7/10 as England really need to score 3 goals at a minimum. We see this one ending 3-4 nil so our money is going on the aforementioned.
