Here’s the competition and how it works

Celebrate braai month with Betway this September and stand a chance to win a Megamaster Gas Braai valued at R5,000. You’ll also get the chance to win cash prizes, Extra Bets and Betway Braai Hamper giveaways that each include a cooler bag, braai set and camp chair.

To Enter you need to place a bet on any market for the Bafana v Libya soccer match or the Australia v South Africa Rugby match.

Participation

1. All persons (“Entrants”) entering the Betway Braai Pack (“Competition”) agree that the Competition rules, as set out in these Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”), shall apply and are binding on them.
2. The competition is only open to participants 18 years of age or older.
3. Participants are required to be in possession of a valid South African Identity Document.
4. Competitions are not open to employees, agencies, prize sponsors or contractors of Betway or any person directly or indirectly involved in the organisation or running of the competition, or their immediate family members.

Terms and conditions

1. The Betway Braai Pack promotional will run from 1 to 24 September 2018.
2. The requirements for entry into the 8 individual giveaways will be defined within the promotional material for each related promotion.
3. Entry into the grand prize lucky draw will require participants to have entered at least 5 of the 8 individual giveaways.
4. The grand prize winner will be announced on Wednesday 26 September 2018.
5. The winner’s will be randomly selected from all qualifying competition entrants.
6. The grand prize winner will receive a Megamaster Gas Braai value at R5,000 (Five Thousand Rand).
7. Should the model be unavailable, Betway reserves the right to select a equivalent model or brand,
8. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. The winners of this competition, agree that Betway may use their name, image and town of residence to announce any winner of this competition and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes. Furthermore, any winner may be required to have their details disclosed and appear on radio, television, the Internet or in printed publications.
10. The winners further agree to participate in any reasonable publicity required by Betway.
11. In terms of the provisions of the Financial Intelligence Center Act of 2001 (FICA) it will be necessary for the winners to furnish Betway with a copy of the winner’s identity details (from an identity document/passport which must be valid), and proof of bank account details (which statements shall not be older than 3 (three) months).
12. Should the chosen winner have failed to comply with the provisions of FICA then Betway shall be prohibited from paying the prize money to the winner.
13. The prize is not transferrable and non-negotiable.
14. All participants and the winners, as the case may be, indemnify Betway and/or associated companies against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in this promotional competition (including, as a result of any act or omission, whether as a result of negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise on the part of the Promoter) and/or use of the prize.
15. Any violation or attempt to violate any of the above rules will result in the immediate disqualification of the transgressor.
16. Betway may disqualify a transgressor for entry into any other Betway competitions, for a period deemed appropriate by Betway Management.
17. Betway reserves the right to cancel the competition at any time, if deemed necessary in their opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of their control and shall not be liable in anyway whatsoever to entrants in such event for any cause or action whatsoever.
18. In the event that any winner is disqualified from the competition, Betway will select an alternative prize-winner in the same manner as the original prize-winner and such selection will be subject to these terms and conditions.
19. By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
20. By entering the competition, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you in your entry is true, accurate and complete in every respect. Betway reserves the right to verify any information contained in your entry and/or your eligibility to enter the competition.
