Betway Uganda History
Betway Uganda is backed by the popular Betway UK brand, which gives the site a lot of credibility and it’s a great brand for Betway Uganda to piggy back off of.
Betway Uganda Site Layout
Betway Uganda has a fairly simple site layout that is clearly optimised for mobile devices and tablets. Exactly what the African market needs as there are not as many PC users as there are in Europe but there are tons of mobile users in Africa. The site is easy to navigate and has big icons for all the popular sports, as well as a responsive and exciting banner carousel. It does feel like using a tablet when on PC but we mentioned that before. What we didn’t like was that you can’t really navigate the banner carousel as there are no buttons (you have to swipe or click and swipe), something we hope they’ll improve moving forward.
Betway Uganda Mobile
The mobile website is as good as the desktop version and fantastic to use, being a mobile based site and all. The experience is seamless and a lot of thought has gone into the mobile side of things and it’s one of the best mobile sites we’ve encountered.
Betway Uganda – Betway Club
Betway Club is a brand new sports betting loyalty programme that gives you exclusive access to weekly Free Bets from Betway Uganda.
As a Betway customer, you’ll automatically qualify for Betway Club. This means you earn loyalty points on cash bets of USh 1000 or higher. Every loyalty point you earn is equal to a USh 1 Free Bet. The bigger the odds or the bigger the bet, the more points you’ll earn towards your Free Bets: (Wager) x (% of Wager) = Free Bet. For example, a bet with odds of 1.21 will be 0.25% on the Odds Tier while odds greater than 500 will be at 8%. All loyalty points will be automatically redeemed as a Free Bet every Monday. We quite like the Betway Uganda Betway Club and it’s similar to Sportingbet’s loyalty program. It’s always great to get something back from the bookies and Betway Uganda have a winner here.
Betway Uganda Promotions
Other than Betway Club, Betway Uganda also have a standard refer a friend promotion where you can get your mates to sign up and get USH1000 from Betway Uganda deposited into your betting account. They don’t seem to have too many other promotions at the moment but we’re sure they have some in the pipeline as Betway UK has plenty of promotions to choose from.
Betway Uganda Overall Experience
Betway Uganda is a great start but suffers from the lack of promotions and markets. The markets on offer are competitive but there simply are not enough of them for punters wanting to dip their toes into more exotic markets. There really isn’t too much else that we can criticize about the site as it’s and enjoyable experience, especially on mobile. One good thing that you didn’t mention is their 0 mb feature and UGX0 Mobile Money fee when browsing and depositing. Limited to MTN data and mobile money users. You bet at no extra charges. This is just awesome.
That’s a nice touch from them!
So far, the live chat feature is not working. And how long does it take for Betway to credit one’s account with his/her winnings? I thought this happened automatically. There is nothing that turn off winners like delaying to credit their accounts with their legitimate wins. This breeds distrust.
