27 Match 2018
Germany v Brazil (Loss)
It’s the World #1 v World #2 in what promises to be an entertaining clash. Being a friendly we suggest keeping stakes low but we do feel we have a decent view for this match. The last 3 matches between these sides saw 3 goals or more, while 6 of Germany’s last 8 home matches also had more than 3 goals. We’re going with a free flowing, high scoring friendly and are happy to back over 2.5 goals at 4/5.
15 March 2018
Arsenal v AC Milan (Won)
Arsenal are on the up after a very disappointing league and domestic cup campaign. The Gunners still have a shot at getting into Europe by winning the Europa League which is why we think they’ll press on their impressive 2-0 away win in their last match against the Italians. Arsenal can simply not afford to slip up here and the 19/20 on offer for an Arsenal win is too good to turn down.
14 March 2018
Barcelona v Chelsea (Loss)
This match should be interesting and not as one sided as you might think. Barca are the obvious favourites but Chelsea really should have won the first leg after a dogged performance. Looking at this fixture one would expect there to be plenty of goals, as Chelsea need to score to have any chance of progressing. With that in mind the best play here is to take Both Teams to Score at 8/10.
1 March 2018
Arsenal v Manchester City (Won)
This one is pretty cut and dry. Arsenal are in an absolute mess, they capitulated to City in the League Cup and have failed to beat the Sky Blues in their last 5 meetings (90min). The Gunners defence is also a cause for concern, having conceded in 8 of their last 10 matches. Another interesting stat is that of Arsenal’s last 7 Premier League games have had 3 goals or more. We’ll be backing Manchester City to pick up the win at 15/20 as well as a sprinkle on Man City to win and both teams to score at 7/4.
25 February 2018
Manchester United v Chelsea (Loss)
The best clash of an otherwise dull weekend! Both sides are struggling for form and could easily have lost their midweek Champions League fixtures. Despite all the fire power available to the two sides we are not expecting a high scoring game. A low scoring draw is likely on the cards so our main bet is under 2.5 goals at 15/20 with some interest bets on correct score 1-1 at 21/4.
24 February 2018
Bournemouth v Newcastle United (Won)
Bournemouth have three wins from their last five with Arsenal and Chelsea among the teams that have been beaten. At the Vitality Stadium, they’ve recorded three wins in a row. We don’t see Newcastle picking up an away win but Bournemouth have conceded in 9 of their last 10 home games. We’re backing both teams to score at 4/5.
9 February 2018
Tottenham v Arsenal (Loss)
This match is undoubtedly the highlight of the weekend! The rest of the Premier League card looks snooze worthy in relation to this clash. Both sides are blowing hot and cold, with Spurs blowing slightly hotter. The Gunners have had their recent woes but have made some big moves in the transfer market and it certainly showing in their drubbing of Everton.
We fancy Arsenal to show up for the big occasion and at least grab a point in what we predict to be a low scoring affair. An interesting stat is that Spurs have kept a clean sheet in their last 4 games at home and 4 of the last 5 matches between these sides have had 2 goals or less! Call us crazy but the U2.5 goals pays a massive 15/10. So we’ll be having a bet on that as well as Arsenal double chance at 1/1.
Betway currently have a fantastic promotion for the Tottenham v Arsenal match, you get 25% of your stake back if your bet loses! We’ll definitely be having some of that.
2 February 2018
Arsenal v Everton (Won)
Arsenal have been poor away from home but they have not been bad at all at the Emirates. The 3 last meetings between the sides have produced 3 goals or more and we think it’ll be more of the same when they meet this weekend. Both teams to score looks a good bet and at 9/10 its good value. Also keep an eye out for Walcott, who is 4/1 to nab a goal against his old side.
30 January 2018
Swansea v Arsenal (Won)
Arsenal have put the Sanchez saga behind them and can now focus on improving their Premier League standing when they travel to Wales to take on Swansea. There have been 3 goals or more in the last 5 meetings between these sides. While recent trends may suggest a low scoring match one must remember that neither are these sides are very solid at at the back. Bet on over 2.5 goals at 3/4.
Huddersfield v Liverpool (loss)
Huddersfield are winless against Liverpool in almost 60 years, the last time they picked up a win against the Red’s was before 1959! Worrying for Liverpool is that they have not kept a clean sheet in their last 6 matches, they’ve been more reliant on outscoring the opposition as opposed to keeping them out. This should be straight forward win for Liverpool but we think there is more value backing Both Teams To Score at a tasty 11/10.
22 January 2018
Swansea v Liverpool(Loss)
This match has a Liverpool side that is brimming with confidence take on a Swansea side who are struggling for consistency. The Red’s are in great form and find themselves as short favourites, one can understand this as they have won their last 5 on the trot. There is little value backing Liverpool but we did find a gem of a bet. Both teams to score is priced at a massive 11/10 and considering recent stats it looks a strong contender. Liverpool aren’t the best at the back but have no issues finding the back of the net, the same can be said for Swansea, which is why we’re backing Both Teams to Score (Yes) at 11/10.
20 January 2018
Manchester City v Newcastle United (Push)
Newcastle are a bit of a mess at the moment and a visit to the Eithad could not come at a worse time. Considering the host’s dominance over the Toon one can only look at backing the home side to keep a clean sheet or on the handicap. City have won their last 4 home games against Newcastle by 4 goals or more and Newcastle’s away record against big sides further feeds into this stat, back City -1.5 or City to keep a clean sheet at 17/20.
Brighton v Chelsea (Won)
It’s always good to back Chelsea after a disappointing performance and the price of them to beat Brighton is simply too good to ignore. It’s a whopping 5/10 and considering Chelsea’s strong record against teams similar to Brighton things could get nasty. We won’t be back the straight win, rather go with Chelsea -1 at 7/5.
15 January 2018
Manchester United v Stoke (Won)
Manchester United host a Stoke side who are struggling on the road. Four of their last five matches away from home have ended with losses. Their notable losses were 5-0 and 5-1 to Chelsea and Spurs respectively, both sides in the same calibre as Manchester United. This could get ugly and we’re backing Manchester United -1 at 17/20.
