Soccer bets that are popular with punters
Match Result
The most common betting market in soccer. Simply select a team to win or if the match will end in a draw. This is also often referred to as a Win / Draw / Win market, which has 3 different outcomes.
Correct Score
Predict the score at the end of normal time (90min). There are many scorelines for a match so the odds you get for winning one of these bets are quite high. It’s a great bet to take if you feel confident that a team will win 1-0 or 2-0.
Half Time/Full Time
Also known as the double result, this is a bet on predicting the result at both half time and full time in the same bet in 90 minutes. It’s great for sides who start out a game slowly, draw and half time, and then go on to win the rest of the match.
Draw No Bet
Similar to a match result bet, but there is no option for the draw. You can bet on either team to win and if it’s a draw you get your stake back. This is one of our favourite bets if you are looking to back an underdog as it removed the draw from the equation, however you will get reduced odds when betting on this market.
Double Chance
Double Chance is very much like a DNB but it includes the draw. So you’ll be taking one of 3 options : Team 1 to Win or Draw, Team 1 or Team 2 to win or Team 2 to win of draw. It’s a great safe bet but the odds will be reduced due to the reduction in risk.
Total Goals (Under / Over)
This is a two option bet on whether there will be more or less than the number of goals you select. One of the most common bets here is over / under 2.5 goals. To win your over 2.5 goals bet there needs to be 3 goals or more in a match. To win an under 2.5 goals bet there needs to be 2 goals or less!
