Our new Best Bets this Weekend weekly feature aims to give you some of the best bets we’ve placed for the upcoming weekend. We’ll have a short write up for each pick but encourage you to do additional research. Remember to follow responsibly! This weekend’s action takes place from the 7th to the 9th of December.

December Best Bets

Premier League Best Bets

Arsenal v Huddersfield

Arsenal have been on an absolute tear recently. Their emotional 4-2 win over Spurs gave them the confidence to pick up a draw at Old Trafford midweek. We see the Gunners coming out hard and fast and should have this match wrapped up before half time. With the amount of goals Arsenal have been scoring recently we’re going to be backing them to win with over 2.5 match goals at 7/10.

Previous Best Bets

Newcastle v Bournemouth

Newcastle have been struggling for form but picked up their first win of the season last weekend against Watford. The Magpies have been steadily improving and should be able to get a result against a Bournemouth team that has have been impressive but are coming off a loss against Manchester United. We’re backing Newcastle Draw No Bet at 9/10

Arsenal v Wolves

Arsenal have been on an absolute tear in the Premier League. The Gunners have not lost a match since August and have won 5 of their last 6 Premier League home games. Wolves impressed early on in the season but find themselves on a 3 game losing streak. We’re backing Arsenal to add to Wolves troubles and pick up a win at 13/20.

Rugby Best Bets

France v South Africa

South Africa are favourites in France? Why? How could this be? As much as my play is about price, like it usually is, there is a lot to be said about the French themselves. I like them and I will use my own money to back them. Look, I am not going berserk here, just a small play, I reckon there will be a lot of unhappy Zaffa punters come late Saturday night. If you are looking to go large here, I would happily caution you, it’s not as easy as it looks. We’re backing France to win at 14/10

Best Bets Results 3-4 November 2018

Arsenal v Liverpool (Won)

Arsenal are on an impressive run in the Premier League, unbeaten in their last 8 games and having picked up 7 wins. We’re backing the Gunners for a result at home against Liverpool. Bet on Arsenal / Draw at 4/5

Wolves v Tottenham (Lost)

Spurs have been grinding out some solid wins on the road recently. We expect that form to continue when they face a Wolves side who have mostly been a mixed bag. We’re betting on Spurs to win a close, low scoring game, Bet on Spurs to win and under 2.5 goals at 4/1.

Rugby Best Bets

Ireland v Italy (Won)

Ireland are one of the best sides in world rugby at the moment. They are possibly one of, if not the best side in the Northern Hemisphere. They face a dogged Italian side who likes to keep things close for 40 min and then run out of steam in the second half. We like Italy to keep it close in the opening minutes, making us lean towards betting Italy HT +14.5 at 9/10. Alternatively back the Irish on the – for the second half

England v South Africa (Lost)

Our friends at Oracle rugby have a great preview up for this game. Here’s what he had to say : I must say I am licking my lips at this encounter, I feel the Bookies have overestimated England’s chances. This game will not be close, when I say not close I am expecting the Boks to prevail by around the ten mark. Back the Boks to win at 7/5.
